di Bosco
Frutti di Bosco is an old country house dating from the early 20th
century and recently renovated throughout for modern comfort.
The house is set in quiet surroundings in the lush green of the
Mugello countryside along the road leading to the ancient church
of San Martino a Scopeto, where a beautiful Art Nouveau majolica
lunette by the local Chini ceramics manufacturers can be found.
The Bed & Breakfast
The Frutti di Bosco bed and breakfast can accommodate 6 guests in
three bright rooms furnished with taste and care; there are two
bathrooms, one en suite with the Mirtilli room and the other shared
between the Lamponi and the More rooms.
Additionally, guests of the B&B can enjoy a cosy sitting room
with a lovely fireplace and TV-sat, a panoramic terrace overlooking
the Mugello valley, a large well-groomed garden and safe parking
on private grounds for their cars.

Where we are
The Frutti di Bosco bed & breakfast is in the countryside of
Vicchio di Mugello, not far from the spot where the painter Giotto
di Bondone was allegedly born.
Nearby, the Barbiana church is where the rev. Don Milani founded
his school and pioneered an innovative educational approach. From
Vicchio di Mugello, Art towns and cities can be reached by following
either of two scenic routes: the 'Bolognese' and the 'Faentina'
state roads. Florence is approx. 25 km away.
The neighbourhood
The area abounds with woods and is a favourite for walking, horse-back
trekking and off-road cycling. Mugello offers a choice of leisure
and sports activities: hiking, bathing and swimming (either in one
of the many swimming pools or in the Bilancino lake), horse riding,
golf, tennis and angling.
The Mugello international racing circuit, where the Ferrari tests
and the Motorcycling World Championship are held, is some 15 Km
away.
Mugello is also renowned for its folklore, history, wildlife and
mouth watering traditional cuisine.

Minimum stay is 2 nights
€ 33.00 to € 45.00 per person per night depending on the
type of room.
Children sharing their parents' bed are welcome guests and stay
free of charge.
The price is inclusive of breakfast, daily cleaning, weekly change
of bed linen, clean towels every 3 days, water, electricity, central
heating.
