Corzano
Corzano is a rural hamlet perched on a small hilltop
with splendid views over the green rolling hills of Barberino di
Mugello.
Personally managed by the owner, the Corzano holiday farm offers
a warm welcome and a friendly service for its guests. It is our
priority and pleasure to make our guests feel at home, and we do
our utmost to make their Italian holiday a memorable one.
Accommodation
Corzano has 2 double and 1 twin room for guest accommodation, each
with ensuite facilities, and all of them furnished in rural Tuscan
style.
If needed, the rooms may be combined to form a comfortable self-contained
unit sleeping 5/7/8 guests, with kitchen and three bathrooms.
Services
Guests are welcome to use the 7x4 metres outdoor swimming pool,
table-tannis equipment, mountain-bikes and barbecue facilities.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement and other guests' requirements
permitting.
The working farm
Corzano is a family run organic farm specializing in cattle breeding
and olive farming. We also grow the prized saffron of the 'Florentine
hills' variety, one of the most precious spices, much sought after
for its countless properties.
Where we are
The Corzano holiday farm is easily approached from the A1 motorway,
whose Barberino di Mugello toll station is just 5.5 km away. Corzano
is a perfect centre for local touring with easy access to the many
and memorable Tuscan destinations for art lovers. Historic cities
such as Florence, Lucca, Siena, Arezzo and Pisa are all within easy
reach both via the motorway or along alternative panoramic routes.
Corzano is also a particularly suitable accommodation option for
a relaxing holiday in a lush rural setting.
The neighbourhood
Very close to Corzano, visitors will find state-of-the-art sporting
facilities such as an airfield and a fishing lake
(2 km), a golf course (6 km), a choice of tennis
lawns, the Bilancino lake (3 km) and the Mugello international racing
circuit at Scarperia (15 km).
